Soft Landings - Australia and New Zealand

This lecture series was organised by CIBSE ANZ
Soft Landings for Australasia

BSRIA is delighted to report that an Australasian version of the Soft Landings Framework for the Australian and New Zealand markets has been created and will be launched shortly.

BSRIA has worked alongside the Australia and New Zealand branch of the UK Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers CIBSE ANZ to produce The Soft Landings Framework Australasia.  It has been developed and tailored to the needs and specific contexts of Australia and New Zealand such that it can be more readily applied to the ANZ construction industry. For example, it has been modified to enable it to support the Australasian NABERS and NABERSNZ energy rating schemes

Development of The Soft Landings Framework Australasia was led by an industry Task Group convened by CIBSE ANZ, led by the following individuals and organisations:
ANZ Workshop

Justin Hill (Beca)
Philip Cowling (Cromwell Property Group)
Roderic Bunn (BSRIA)
Stephen Hennessy (WT Sustainability)

More information on CIBSE ANZ 1/2014 The Soft Landings Framework Australasia will be available shortly.

Simplified and low resolution versions of Roderic Bunn's 2010 CIBSE ANZ lectures, which prompted the Soft Landings Framework Australasia, can be download here: Part 1 (pdf 1.2MB) and Part 2 (pdf 2.3MB) . Some images have been removed for copyright or for reasons of clarity.

These presentations are those given in Sydney at the end of the lecture tour, and contain all improvements and tweaks made along the way. If you require the slides from New Zealand, which contained imagery and text that related to the local conditions, please email roderic.bunn@bsria.co.uk directly.
