All entrants to the survey will be entered into a prize draw for an iPad2, 32gb with retina display.

BIM has been one of the most talked about topics of 2012. The movement from fragmented information, held by different people at different points in the construction lifecycle, to a persistent, shared model is much talked about. Indeed, the government is committed to the adoption of BIM, seeing it as the method of increasing efficiency and reducing cost in the construction and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure.

The aim of our 2013 survey is to find out what is really going in the industry and how construction professionals are dealing with BIM on a day-to-day basis. Is there really a BIM revolution going on in the UK? Are firms getting real improvements in their working methods? Is BIM increasing the amount of work that they can deliver and is this having an effect on the profitability of that work? Or is BIM just the preserve of a few large practices and contractors?

View results from the 2012 survey here.

BSRIA provides a range of activities to support companies with BIM, including an Introduction to BIM training course and a members' BIM Network.
