Graeme is a chartered engineer with a long career working in information management across a broad spectrum of building & infrastructure consultancy environments large and small, UK and international.
Currently Graeme is a member of the UK Cabinet Office BIM Task Group, supporting the technical delivery of the HMG Construction Strategy & Building Information Modelling to Government Departments & Local Authorities acting as construction industry clients and whole life built asset owner operators.
This understanding of the built asset whole life process has enabled Graeme to be a prime contributor to the pending PAS1192 Part 3 Specification for information management for the operational phase of construction projects using building information modelling.
As an independent consultant, Graeme also works in the private sector, local and central government organisations, local SME’s, national and international organisations, facilitating business change and operational efficiency through the adoption of new technologies, process and information management, with particular focus on built asset design, procurement, construction, operation and management, Building Information Modelling and information management.
Graeme has previously been an operations and information systems director for a large international 30,000 strong consultancy where he drove the adoption of information and knowledge based systems, integrated multi-discipline modelling and collaborative production, and the development and adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
