Introduction to Mechanical Building Services

Free copy of  Illustrated Guide to Mechanical Building Services for every delegate.
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR)

"Very clear for me to follow with my non-technical background" Holly McTurk, Royal Holloway University of London
"Extremely well presented and taught" Paul Foster, Lloret Control Systems

Mechanical building services account for around 30% of the capital and 50% of the operating cost for a typical office, and substantially more in highly serviced buildings such as hospitals. They play a central role in creating a successful project and a successful building and are certainly the first thing noticed when not working well - e.g. flickering lights or cold draughts.

Introduction to Mechanical Building Services will give all involved in the construction process a broad appreciation of building services and the role they play.

Key topics covered include:

  • heating, ventilation
  • air conditioning
  • refrigeration
  • control systems
  • fire extinguishing
  • renewable energy

It will enable delegates to communicate more effectively with specialists such as building services consultants and contractors.

Delegates wishing to book onto this course and our related course Introduction to Electrical Building Services will get a 20% discount on Introduction to Electrical. To take advantage of this offer please book directly with Kathie Bull on 01344 465 527 or email kathie.bull@bsria.co.uk
