Full description

This guide will be published shortly. For more information, please contact the publications manager, David Bleicher (david.bleicher@bsria.co.uk).
Success Criteria for Soft Landings Projects is a simple guide to help clients and clients’ advisors define the outcomes that a completed new or refurbished building should meet. It also provides guidance on how to monitor these outcomes throughout the project execution stages (such as design, construction, installation and commissioning) and on how to evaluate them at the end.
The guide presents the approach to success criteria via a process flowchart; a simple and effective visual tool to be implemented on projects and easily understood and remembered by the project execution team.
The flowchart is supplemented by straightforward explanations and realistic examples of success criteria. The examples either come from Soft Landings projects or were adjusted to provide a complete picture of how success criteria should be defined, monitored and evaluated when executing a Soft Landings project.
Finally, the guide includes a series of examples presenting how success criteria could be recorded and tracked during a Soft Landings project, and a comprehensive worked example for a particular educational building.
This guide should be read in conjunction with BSRIA guide BG 54/2018 Soft Landings Framework 2018.
