David Churcher
Professional overview

David has a wealth of experience advising on developing and implementing best practiceDavid has over 20 years' experience in the building and construction sector. His first degree was in civil engineering and he completed his MBA in 2005 with Open University. He is a trained and expert facilitator and much of his professional career has been spent helping parts of the construction industry develop and implement best practice.
His most recent areas on professional interest have been life-cycle costing, the management of design, and building information modelling.
Career summary
At BSRIA, David has managed the Construction Practice and Construction Business Improvement groups, and he is now a Principal Consultant in the Sustainable Buildings Group.
Prior to joining BSRIA, David worked at CIRIA for almost 10 years starting as a Research Manager for site operations ending up as co-manager of the Construction Process team.
David has also worked on site for a major UK contractor, predominantly on commercial building projects in and around London.
