Free copy of Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems guide for every delegate.
"Very good course" , Martyn Neil, Danfoss Randall
"The whole course was very interesting, whilst I was aware of the basic details I didn't understand fully what went on" Nigel Arnold, Morgan Sindall
Thorough pre-commission cleaning of pipework has become even more important with the adoption of energy efficient controls strategies that may result in low flow rates, particularly in terminal units with very small orifices in control valves.
The course will provide a better understanding of the issues and procedures involved with pre-commission cleaning and is aimed at those either involved in pre-commission cleaning or overseeing the process.
It will cover the main principles of pre-commission cleaning, as set out in BSRIA Guide Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems and combine lectures, practical demonstrations and worked examples. The aim is for pre-commission cleaning to be achieved through a process of flushing and chemical cleaning (where required) followed by the addition of biocides and inhibitors. Systems designed and cleaned in accordance with BSRIA's guidance are far less likely to experience operating problems.

The course is not intended to provide complete training of a novice to the point where they are qualified to undertake pre-commission cleaning work. Instead, the course outcome is intended as a better understanding of the issues and procedures involved with pre-commission cleaning for those individuals who are already in some way involved in the process.
DocumentationDelegates are provided with a copy of all the slides presented, a copy of the new BSRIA publication BG 29/2011 Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems and a BSRIA CPD certificate.
LecturerChris Parsloe has a background in building services design. He is the technical author for BSRIA, CIBSE and HVCA publications on a range of subjects including system commissioning, pre-commission cleaning, design of variable flow pumping systems and pipework pressure testing.
