Witness and on-site testing

In addition to testing at our laboratory, BSRIA offers convenient witness and on-site testing:

• At manufacturers' facilities
• On construction sites

Witness and on-site testing is an alternative to shipping large products to our laboratory.

At a manufacturer's facilities BSRIA can:

• Witness or carry out testing to help the manufacturer get their product evaluated before installation.
• Expert advice on use of manufactures' own test equipment or bring BSRIA's calibrated instrumentation
• Work with the manufacturer to resolve any issues that may occur during testing.

Testing on construction sites

For products that must be tested on construction sites we will visit the designated site and carry out testing to an applicable standard. This is usually done to test performance of installed systems in order to confirm that it meets the project specification.

All test results are generated in a technical report or a certificate.
