Heat pumps and air conditioning systems - UKAS Accredited testing

BSRIA is the only UKAS accredited laboratory in the UK for testing air conditioning systems and heat pumps to EN 14511 standard.

The UKAS accreditation is internationally recognised and brings further recognition to our testing expertise and gives added value to your product certification. 

BSRIA offers:

• Full capacity testing to EN 14511 for thermal performance and rating
• CoP (Coefficient of Performance) 
• EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio)
• Cooling and heating mode
• Part-load testing to prEN 14825 for seasonal performance factor SPF and seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio EER 

  ... with fast turn around and internationally recognised reports and certificates.

At our laboratory in Bracknell, UK, we test different types of heat pumps e.g. air-cooled heat pumps, swimming pool water heaters, and others including:

• air to air or air to water 
• water to air or water to water 
• ground source heat pumps

Air conditioning systems
