BSRIA Associates - additional support for BSRIA Members

Chris Parsloe is a commissioning specialistBSRIA has announced the creation of two new Associates - people who have worked closely with us over many years and are now working on their own but able to supply BSRIA and its members with specialist knowledge. They are Chris Parsloe and John Sharp.

Chris Parsloe worked for BSRIA from 1987 to 2001 and now has his own consultancy. His expertise is in commissioning of HVAC systems and we are delighted that he is currently authoring a revision to BSRIA's well known guide to Commissioning Water Systems (AG2/89.3 (2002)). He is also revising CIBSE Code W, thus helping BSRIA and CIBSE ensure that the guidance in the industry is totally consistent. He is working with the guidance of a steering group under the Chairmanship of Bryan Franklin to ensure that the guidance is as useful and relevant as it is consistent.

John Sharp is a contracting and productivity specialistJohn Sharp was a non-executive director of BSRIA from 2000 to 2009, and our Chairman from 2001 to 2003. His experience in the contracting sector at both William Seward and NG Bailey has provided him with a real depth of knowledge of how projects actually work on site. John also worked for BSRIA last year on productivity issues. Although no longer a director of BSRIA, we are delighted to still be using John's skills as a trustee of our pension fund.
