R&D funding competition for UK manufacturers

The Technology Strategy Board launched new collaborative research and development competitions on 7 October 2008 covering a number of technology areas including High Value Manufacturing.
The challenge for UK manufacturers is to remain competitive in this environment, which in turn translates into being continually innovative. Against this background, the Technology Strategy Board's broad aim is to invest in UK manufacturing companies to maintain and develop their international competitiveness. Projects can range from small, highly focused basic research aimed at establishing technical feasibility, through to applied research, and to experimental development projects.
BSRIA would be pleased to work in co-operation with members who would like to use our expertise both in assembling a bid or as part of a consortium.
