BSRIA and CIBSE talk commissioning at London HEVAR

July 2010

London HEVAR 2010 will take place on 22 & 23 September at the Royal Horticultural Halls, Victoria. BSRIA will once again feature in the topical and interactive seminar programme at the event.

Our session takes place at 14.30 in the Business Driver Theatre on Wednesday 22 September and sees the launch of BSRIA and CIBSE commissioning water systems guides.

BSRIA and CIBSE have been working on new guidance for commissioning water systems. Critically they have ensured that the guidance given in the two publications, CIBSE Code W and BSRIA Guide BG2/2010 are the same. Chris Parsloe, the author of the Code and the Guide, will talk about the new advice on dealing with tolerances in ultra low flow rates systems and other changes. Glenn Hawkins has compiled BSRIA's new 'Commissioning Job Book', a sister volume to BSRIA's popular Building Services Job Book, will also talk on the commissioning process. Order forms will be available at the end of the talk for reduced price copies of the documents.

Other seminars at London HEVAR include Improving Procurement to Deliver the Low Carbon Agenda, Payments as a Contractual Option, Building MOTs: A Structured Approach to Total Energy Management, an HVCA session: Safe and Sound - How Health and Safety Regulation is driving the Building Services Engineering Agenda and a CIBSE session: The Law, The Money & You - implement austerity measures to keep on the right side of the law.

Please see www.hevar.co.uk for more information about London HEVAR, the full seminar programme and free registration.
