European BIM Survey

BuildingSMART UK is co-operating with McGraw-Hill Construction in an industry-wide survey of Building Information Modelling (BIM).  The survey, which also involves 15 other construction associations in the UK, France and Germany, will be one of the most comprehensive surveys of BIM adoption and usage by architects, engineers, contractors and specialists.  Once completed the survey results will be compared with results from a similar survey conducted by McGraw-Hill Construction in the United States and Canada.

The survey will look at both at both BIM-users and non-users:

  • If you are not currently a BIM user, you will be asked about your current attitude and potential future interest in BIM.
  • If you are a current BIM user you will be asked where you are experiencing value from using BIM

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. The results will be strictly confidential.
