"Really good level of knowledge and practical experience imparted by the lecturer" Ian Ellis, Siemens Building Technologies

"Very interesting and useful" Bill McDonagle, National Construction College

The Building Regulations are a set of legal requirements that apply to most building work, including new buildings, extensions, and certain types of renovation and replacement work. They are minimum requirements, and they are supported by a large body of guidance in the form of Approved Documents. Negotiating the legal requirements and guidance can be tricky, especially for the uninitiated.

Introduction to Building Regulations will provide an overview of the England and Wales legal requirements and some knowledge of the Approved Documents. There will be particular focus on parts of the Building Regulations that have changed recently and discussion of possible future changes.

It will provide invaluable assistance to professionals involved in the building process even those who have had prior experience with Building Regulations.
