Introduction
Bioenergy has recently become one of the most changing sectors of global energy economy. The mandatory EU targets of 20% of renewable energy and 10% share of biofuels in transport by 2020 are bound to increase the demand for agricultural and other biomass during the coming years.
This Webinar focuses on experienced approved requirements on middle sized wood chip boiler systems for district or industrial heating schemes (>150kW), and explains coherent facts for the choice of wood chip/pellet boilers, explains solid biofuels (moisture content, calorific values) and shows the importance of fuel transportation.
Aims
To improve awareness and understanding of renewable energy systems and give
delegates a better understanding of how to specify wood chip boiler systems, what types of solid biofuels there are and where to find important information.
